Jeff Mobley Endorses Rick Santorum for President!

Just thought I'd throw up some links.
Here's a piece about Ron Paul that I thought made a very good point.
Here is an article that describes some comments made by Rick Santorum at a campaign stop in Iowa,
and here is an article noting that Santorum just received the personal endorsement of Bob Vander Plaats, a big conservative activist in Iowa.  This is the guy who ran Mike Huckabee's Iowa operation in 2008.

I keep telling people I like Santorum, and I'm finally going to go ahead and say
that if he's still in the race by the time the South Carolina GOP holds its primary, I'll be casting my vote for him.  With so many people in Iowa still either undecided or only tentatively decided, it's really way to early to call anybody out of the running in that state (except maybe Huntsman).

The fact is that Santorum has a solid conservative track record on all the issues, and seems to me to be the most trustworthy.  He may not have the charisma of someone like Huckabee, but he has a distinctly straightforward and candid manor, and exudes not only sincerity, but competence.

If he can make it out of Iowa, and if either Perry or Bachmann suffer a setback, then he could be a strong contender in South Carolina, and if that's the case, I would want to see him win here.

I really don't dislike any of the candidates (except for half of Ron Paul), but I just feel like from my perspective, there is a clear best choice, and that's Santorum.

Thanks for reading.

  1. The only thing entertaining about this was the "Post a Comment" comments.
